Officially, the eighth season of 9-1-1 is less than two months away, and work on the anticipated eighth season has already begun. In the fast-paced drama about first responders, Oliver Stark plays Evan “Buck” Buckley. An Instagram reel with a message from Stark and the surprising appearance of yet another 9-1-1 star provided ABC with an update on the current situation. He discussed the expectation developing before the September debut.

In the brief video, Stark begins by saying, “Hello, guys.” I just wanted to let you know that we are back in production and that we are here. We’re extremely eager to make the show once more, and we’re exceptionally energized..” he keeps, uncovering that creation is happening in full power. “… in preparation for September 26 Tune in!” Eddie Diaz’s role is played by Ryan Guzman, and he interrupts Stark. Guzman makes a reference to the premiere date of the show, which is scheduled for Thursday, September 26 at 8 p.m., the same night as the premieres of Doctor Odyssey at 9 p.m. and Grey’s Anatomy at 10 p.m. Curiously, Guzman has a new look that hints at the upcoming change in Eddie’s life as he tries to get used to living without his son in the house.
